Festival Sanje - lokacije

Zvezda Park, Ljubljana

Zvezda Park, Ljubljana

The main venue of Sanje Festival remains the Zvezda Park in the centre of the capital where the festival has been set from its very beginning.

The first year we took a tram to travel through the festival programme. Through the years the stage guarded by mighty plane trees was growing increasingly larger and this year we are going back to a smaller, more intimate setting, characterised by the colourful Little Sleepy Star exhibition.

Sanje Festival below Krvavec

This year again a section of the festival will be set below the spreading trees in Dvorje at Cerklje na Gorenjskem. The second edition of Sanje below Krvavec will be dreamt below the Jenko lime tree, where the starry sky, the rhythm of cicadas singing and the shelter provided by mighty Krvavec shall create a really dreamy atmosphere also reminding us that the composer Davorin Jenko was born there.

Dream World in Novo mesto

Dream World in Novo mesto

At the main square by the Krka river beside the old bridge within the city walls a house has been standing and guarding the city entrance for more than 400 years.
Its walls are soaked in stories of the city and its people. If you calm down, you can feel them.

Other locations

An increasing number of events have been avoiding the usual festival venues and cultural centres thus imprinting their message ever stronger in the environment where they are performed.
This year the Little bargeman's route will again find itself on the Ljubljanica River, the Mutatika intermedia project has found its venue in Menza pri koritu at Metelkova, while the poetry and music event Sensuality, Laughter, Spirituality in Goriška brda shall serve as a festival pre-opening of a kind.
